Meet our amazing volunteer, Joanne Lee! Her leadership has been a foundation for the achievements and success that Minds Matter has had for the underprivileged high schoolers in the Bay Area. As Co-Chief Financial Officer, Joanne uses her expertise to make possible the various mentoring, tutoring, and test prep programs we have for our mentees.

What is your favorite part of Minds Matter Bay Area (MMBay)?

My favorite aspect of MMBay is the opportunity to contribute to the community with the resources at my disposal. It's inspiring to witness individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by the same vision, making a positive impact in our community.

What does MMBay mean to you?

MMBay is a place that goes beyond its mission, becoming a source of fulfillment and connection in my life. Within this organization, I engage with diverse individuals, fostering open communication. It's a space where I experience continuous support and encouragement, surrounded by like-minded, positive individuals.
