program overview

This 12-day residential program aims to introduce Minds Matter rising juniors to the college experience, emphasizing confidence-building and generating excitement over collegiate learning. Students will work with the Office of Admission to begin answering key questions about the kind of college they want to attend and will learn how to effectively research the colleges they are interested in. Additionally, the program provides a variety of experiential learning opportunities within academic subject areas with the objective of demystifying college academics and familiarizing students the liberal arts learning experience. Throughout the program, students will keep blogs of their experience in order to facilitate personal reflection as well as share their experience with friends and family at home.
